From chronic, recurring ear infections and tonsillitis to more unusual disorders like congenital hearing loss and neck masses, Akron Children’s ENT specialists are trained in managing and treating children with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat and related parts of the head and neck.
We offer a full spectrum of therapies and procedures to treat these conditions, including airway reconstruction, tracheotomy, ear tube insertions, sinus surgery, cochlear implants and bone conduction implants. We work as a team with other pediatric specialists such as audiologists and speech-language pathologists to ensure the best possible outcome.
We know how to examine and treat children in a way that makes them relaxed and cooperative, and we do our best to minimize pain, discomfort and anxiety. We also understand the physical and emotional needs of children and encourage active participation of parents in all aspects of care.
