Meet Swaroop Pinto, MD
Dr. Pinto joined the Akron Children’s Sleep Medicine department in 2023. She completed her medical degree at Sri Siddhartha Medical College in Tumkur, India. She completed her pediatric residency at Marshfield Clinic, Wisconsin, and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and a fellowship in sleep medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. She certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

I thought she had a lot of patience for a child that was very, very impatient. I was very pleased with the provider.
Nurse and doctor were very friendly and thorough.
During the sleep study, he was yelling and he was mad and he was awake and they got kicked out. I didn't think that was very professional.

The team that provided care for my son was excellent. Every last person from the doctor down to scheduling the appointments. So I would definitely recommend this to anybody that I know that has issues or has things going on with their children, but I highly recommend them. And again, the staff that worked with me were very, very, very resourceful and helpful.
I had a great experience. Personally, I brought my son in for his appointment and his breathing was abnormal and they gave him breathing treatment right away. All of my questions were answered and they sent us down to the emergency room after to make sure he was fully okay. So I really appreciated that. Yeah, I think everything was great.
