Meet Stephen Manu, MD
Dr. Manu is a pediatric cardiologist at Akron Children’s Heart Center where he’s been practicing since 2016. After graduating from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, he completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in California and a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital in Ohio. Dr. Manu has special research interests in the use of 3D imaging technologies in pediatric cardiology, minimization of radiation exposure in pediatric cardiac catheterization, outpatient electrophysiology among others. He’s certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

I thought Dr. Manu was very personable and he got along great with my son who's a teenager so those kind of visits with the cardiologist can be kind of awkward because I'm sure he had a lot of concern going into there that he was going to get told bad news. But Dr. Manu did a great job of being personable with (Patient), you know, being (age). He was fantastic with him. I would definitely encourage anybody who has a child with potential cardiac issues to check out Dr. Manu.
Dr Manu was outstanding! He listened and answered all of our questions and was very thorough. So thankful for the doctors, nurses and other staff that take such wonderful care of my daughter every time. We are very blessed to live this close to such an amazing place! Thank you all so very much!!!
Dr. Manu, I think I'm saying his name right, was so respectful. He listened to us, and he was so willing to explain things like three different times, three different ways so that we really felt comfortable with our daughter's condition, and felt like we understood what to watch for.
