Meet Somashekhar Rachaiah, MD
Dr. Rachaiah is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Pediatrics. He’s been practicing since 2000. He earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. He went on to complete a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. We appreciate the professional and relaxed environment the doctor and his staff provide. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable.
Everyone is so nice and so caring. They listen to you and your concerns. They have always been prompt. It's so nice to feel comfortable at a doctors office.
I absolutely love Dr. Rachaiah. He answers all of my questions no matter how crazy they seem to me at the time. He is very thorough. He remembers everything about my kids and he asks about my other kids when I have a different one in for something else. He'll call and check on them. I have taken all three of my kids to him now and I always tell people that if they're looking for another pediatrician or switching, they absolutely should go to him. I think he is the best around.
