Meet Sladjana Courson, DO
Dr. Courson is a pediatrician and associate program director, ambulatory medicine at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing since 2000. She earned her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio and completed a residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s. Dr. Courson is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a member of the Academic Pediatrics Association. She’s also a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University and an adjunct clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Courson is very knowledgeable,respectful and easy to talk to about any concerns I may have.
Dr Courson has been the primary care physician for all 3 of my children their whole lives. Going on 18 years and she goes above and beyond for my family. We absolutely love her!
Dr. Courson and her trainee, (staff name), were so kind, so patient with my kids and their interrupting, and so gentle with their check up, I felt like we were in very good hands. The facilities were clean and I was very happy to be able to have my daughter seen the same day that we called to make the appointment as we were very worried about her neck.
Dr. Courson is an amazing physician who is very thorough with my son. She is very detailed in her approach.
