Meet Shelli Reed, MSN, APRN-CNP
Shelli is a pediatric nurse practitioner who joined Akron Children's Pediatrics, Wadsworth North in January, 2023. Prior to that, she cared for patients at Wadsworth Pediatrics, Ontario Children's Health in Mansfield, and served our families as an Ask Children's phone triage nurse for over 12 years. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at The University of Akron, Akron Ohio and was recognized as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Student of the Year in 2007. She's certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) as well the Ohio Chapter of NAPNAP.

Dr Shelli is the absolute best. She communicates wonderfly with my kids. She never rushes the appointment, she takes time to listen to me and my children. She is very sweet and understanding. When my kids know they are going to the doctor they always want it to be Dr Shelli. My son his words "are we going to see the pretty doctor with the red curly hair". She is awesome!
Everyone was great with our daughter and was very helpful to answer any questions we had and was very helpful with explaining what they were doing at the well visit.
