Meet Sabrina Ben-Zion, MD, FAAP
Dr. Ben-Zion is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Pediatrics and associate pediatric program director of ambulatory medicine at Akron Children’s. She is also the research director of the residency program, and has been named Chair, Research and Scholarship Learning Community and Chair, Mid-America Region of the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD). She’s been practicing since 2004 and with Akron Children’s since 2005. She earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Ill. and completed a pediatric residency at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford in Palo Alto, Ca. Dr. Ben-Zion is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She’s contributed to numerous educational workshops, presentations and publications, and is a clinical associate professor of pediatrics and member of the master teacher's guild at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Dr. Ben-Zion continues to amaze my daughter and I each and every time she sees her. Dr. Ben-Zion is so easy to talk to, she doesn't rush you, she actually listens, and completely explains all your options. Dr. Ben-Zion makes sure all your worries are put at ease and she actually cares!
I am so appreciative of Dr. Ben-Zion She carefully listened to both my son and me, asked gentle probing questions to gain more information and discussed treatment possibilities with us, in addition to offering a consult to ensure the right course of treatment was pursued. Her comprehensive approach to my son's care is so reassuring and the trust she's built with him (and me) over the years makes physician appointments so much less stressful. We leave her office confident that wellness will be achieved and grateful to have found such an outstanding pediatrician.

I just want to say that Dr. Ben Zion is amazing and phenomenal and she does an amazing job and I wouldn't trust my children with anybody else but her.
