Dr. Rachel Szekely is a pediatric allergist and immunologist at Akron Children’s, Boston Heights and Beachwood. Dr. Szekely earned her medical degree from Medical College of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio and has been practicing since 2005. She completed an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Michigan State University in Kalamazoo, Michigan and an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Szekely is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, American Board of Allergy and Immunology and American Board of Internal Medicine. They were very calm with my kid that was screaming. They listened to my concerns without judgement and were willing to see if there were any concerns. We found out that he did in fact have an allergy to cats and I was so happy to finally have some answers.
Dr. Szekeley took the time to listen to all questions and any concerns with care. She made sure that I understood everything I was told and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Szekely is also very knowledgeable - honestly the best physician I have ever had in her field. I highly recommend Dr. Szekely!

Dr. Szekely is the finest doctor i've ever encountered. I should know. I've struggled with 3 life threatening illnesses for almost two generations. i've seen DOZENS of doctors in that time. Dr Szekely is, by far, the best of them. I've been going to Dr Szekely for over 20 years. I'm being insistent that she begins being a primary care physician. She has not taken the bait.
