Rachel joined Akron Children’s as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the palliative care department in 2022. She earned her undergraduate degree at The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio and her graduate degree at King University in Knoxville, Tenn. and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

She did not listen to my husband or read the notes. She also put the wrong information in. She said that I have been off with my daughter for the last month and that her symptoms have gotten better. That is the wrong information she put into the notes. That was, or he did not say that at all because her symptoms have not gotten better. So we will hopefully be seeking other options.
This office did great. I a better understanding of our situation before we left.
Yes, the nurse practitioner and the audiologist that we saw on (date) were both phenomenal, both highly knowledgeable, very personable, very friendly, put my daughter at ease. And I truly have told everyone about them and said I would gladly recommend them to anyone else facing a similar issue with their child needing tubes. So just very pleased, very encouraged, and I love that (Staff name) has such wonderful, competent people working for him.
