What families are saying…

“Our daughter visited the UofA location for ACH athletic orthopedics, specifically, Dr. Patrick Riley, Jr. He was not only exceptional in his knowledge and understanding, but thorough, empathetic, funny, detailed in explanation of not only the issue but also how we were going to treat it. Our family felt that Dr. Riley was truly a part of the journey and our team. Moreover, he was flexible and kind enough to allow my wife/her mother to FaceTime in from her career as a physician to attend and participate. Most importantly, he was calm and comforting to our daughter, and us.”

Dr. Riley and staff- from surgery, to office crew.

Great doctor, listens carefully and explains things thoroughly.

My daughter was recently there. We seen Dr. Riley and his assistant (Staff name). I'm not sure who we initially seen for her ACL in the beginning, but all three were great. They took care of my daughter great. I was very comfortable with them. They answered every single question and concern that I had. You know, even with giving my daughter really hard news of an ACL tear, I think the guy did extremely great with it. He kind of coached my daughter through her feelings, and I appreciated that. I'm looking forward to getting the surgery from Dr. Riley. He seems more than capable of getting my daughter exactly back on track where she needs to go. I just loved everything about them, him and (Staff name). They were both great.

Dr. Riley Jr. was amazing! He explained everything that would happen in my son's knee surgery and he was able to get my son back to the sport he loves. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Riley Jr.

He was very positive and friendly. He answered all questions without hesitation.

Jan 8, 2025

Hi, this is regarding our visit with Dr. Riley Jr. He was in a hurry and rushed and not very kind with bedside manner as he walked backwards out of the room we were in because he had another patient, leaving my daughter crying in tears. And we didn't felt listened to regarding other options past surgery. He said we could figure it out on our own or have surgery done. So we have gone and gotten a second opinion with a clearer, kinder message.

Dr. Riley Jr is the best and I wouldn't take my son to anyone else.

Nov 22, 2024

Dr. Patrick Riley Jr. did a wonderful job. Explained what was going on with my child's hip, options that are available and when our next follow up would be.

All of the staff was polite, efficient, and helpful. They explained everything clearly. Dr. Riley Jr. listened to our concerns, asked clear questions and made sure that we understood his findings. Our visit exceeded our expectations.
