Nikki is a physician assistant at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing as a provider since 2021. She earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio and a master’s degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Nikki has a special interest in orthopedics and sports medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants.

He examining provider was very friendly and professional. The physical therapist explained everything and went over the exercises showing (Patient) how to do them and having (Patient) demonstrate doing them himself. She answered questions in a way my teenage grandson could understand.
I had a great experience with Nikki McKenna, PA-C, at Akron Children's Orthopedics. The staff was not only welcoming but also professional, creating a positive atmosphere. Nikki took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions about my sons injury. She explained his diagnosis in a clear and concise manner and outlined a comprehensive treatment plan. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and knowledgeable care! We will certainly return to Nikki for any future orthopedic needs!
The nurse practitioner was wonderful!!! The therapist in training was great also!! The assistant was not friendly at all and when we said thank you she said nothing at all and walked out. The staff is usually very kid friendly but NO HER.
As she checked out my daughter, she explained every single thing she was doing and what she was looking for. After xrays she explained exactly what I was looking at in detail. She was very descriptive without making me feel inferior.
