Meet Michelle Levitt, MD, FAAP
Dr. Levitt has been in practice since 1997. She is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, completed a residency at Akron Children’s and obtained obesity medicine training through the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Levitt has a special interest in wellness, fitness and nutrition and is a certified personal trainer, certified performance enhancement specialist and certified sports nutrition coach. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, she is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Obesity Medical Association.

Dr. Levitt and the other professionals (nutritionist, athletic trainers) were truly exceptional ! They were well prepared to address our specific concerns, spent an impressive amount of time with us, and offered a wealth of pertinent and practical information. They connected well with both us and our son. We would not hesitate to return as needed in the future; every student athlete should make this visit!
Dr. Levitt really listens to her patience. She asked a lot of questions to make sure she is understanding and getting the whole picture of her patients health. She is very informative about her patients overall health and will refer to other doctors if she is suspecting there may be other health issues going on.
