Meet Michelle Burke, MD
Dr. Burke has been practicing since 2011. She earned her medical degree from Medical University of Ohio (now University of Toledo) and completed her residency and sports medicine fellowship at Akron Children’s. Dr. Burke provides musculoskeletal injury treatment for pediatric, high school, college and adult athletes with a special interest in dance, cheer and gymnastics, as well as basketball, volleyball and softball. She is board certified in pediatrics and has a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. She’s also a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.

Doctor was amazing. Listened to concern and was very informative. Athletic trainer was a talking to her trainee and barely addressed us. Not as informative or attentive.
I can't say enough good things about the doctor and the nurse and the front desk. I arrived late due to so many other things. They still saw me and took their time with my daughter. I was definitely impressed and know where to go in the future if we have another sports injury.
Dr Burke was absolutely amazing. She made me feel much more comfortable knowing when to worry and when to seek a higher level of care. She gave great follow up Recommendations too.
When we couldn't get answers about what was happening with my daughter's injury I sought out help from Akron Children's. Like all times before, we are not disappointed. Physician took time to examine and answer questions to our satisfaction. We also set up a treatment plan together. So happy with care we receive

Everyone was absolutely wonderful but I really appreciated Dr. Burke ... she was very attentive and listened to everything my daughter had to say. She provided great knowledge and guidance for how to strengthen (Patient's) knee and hip. The whole visit was just amazing! Thank you for helping us. We are always grateful for all the support we receive from Akron Children's Hospital!
Everybody at the Boston Heights location was amazing. They did a great job from the front staff to the assistant to Dr. Burke. I would recommend you guys to anybody. I think on the one I tried to hit four and it said one, but it is a four for everything.
