Meet Michael DiSano, MD
Dr. DiSano has been in practice since 2019. He joined Akron Children’s as a pediatric epileptologist/neurologist. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, he completed a child neurology residency and pediatric epilepsy fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. DiSano has a special interest in treatment of pediatric epilepsy and pediatric seizures, including surgical planning for medically intractable epilepsy. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with a special qualification in child neurology and is board eligible in epilepsy. Dr. DiSano is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the Child Neurology Society.
