Meet Mark Adamczyk, MD
Dr. Adamczyk has been in practice since 2005. He joined Akron Children’s as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. After receiving his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE he went on to complete a residency at Akron General Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital and Health Center of San Diego. Dr. Adamczyk has a special interest in clubfoot, pediatric orthopedic trauma, infantile orthopedic conditions and developmental dysplasia of the hip. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.

He (the doctor) was the most kind and thoughtful provider we have had to date at ACH. As someone with anxiety meeting a new provider under the circumstances we had can be stressful. He made the experience so flawless and even though my daughter wanted a cast I think given all our options and being able to choose the one we could afford helped. I wish that I had him as my middles orthopedic doctor. He was simply wonderful and my only hope is that everyone gets to experience his kindness. He truly is one of a kind. Thank you for making me feel less anxious about the situation. May others be as blessed as we were and have him as their orthopedic doctor some day.
Doctor Adamczyk have been my daughter Doctor for several years now. Very knowledgeable and his whole team are super friendly we never had any problems with the whole orthopedic team.
the dr. reassured me that my son's bruising is normal and the x-ray showed that his hip and hardware were where they should be. he said to call with any further questions came up

Dr A is an amazing dr. He has such great bedside manner and he is great with my daughter who he has seen since she's been (age) old and she is now (age). He has a great way of explaining things to us. His Nurse practitioner that worked with him that day was also very friendly and had great knowledge of what was going on with my daughter. I would recommend Dr. A to anyone who needs an orthopedic doctor.

He respects our viewpoint as parents and considers our son's treatment in the context of his entire history, personality, and future. He takes the time to explain things and makes sure we understand everything he is recommending. We have complete confidence in his surgical skills and medical knowledge. His gentle demeanor and genuine care for his patients shine through at every visit.
