Awesome
She was absolutely remarkable with my children, understanding, caring, affectionate, more than willing to work with us. We were super worried about what was going on. She was very good at reassuring us, making sure that we weren't freaking out, more than willing to continue listening to us, waited for our responses. It felt very personal. It didn't feel like we were coming to this huge corporate with our children.
I had been trying to reach our normal doctors at pediatric consultants (which was acquired bu Akron children's). I was unable to get through to the office so we went to the urgent care on Trimble at 815, not realizing it wasn't open until noon during the week. They suggested that we check with the providers (since she is an Akron children's patient at the other office) to see if anyone could see my daughter. They were able to get her in within ten minutes. Our provider, Lora Jones, was excellent. She listened to my daughter and myself, asked us questions about her illness and then spent a long time listening to her lungs and examining her. I would highly recommend her and would prefer seeing her over our regular providers and NPs at the pediatric consultants office on lex-Springmill.
I really enjoyed my visit today. Dr was so nice and sweet! She had a mask on and yet the way she would engage and talk to my son he was smiling. He didn't cry when she looked into his ears, nose and mouth. Dr made him very comfortable.
Lora was probably the nicest person that we have ever dealt with at Akron Children's Hospital.
She was very nice with the kids, very mannerable, made them feel comfortable. They really enjoyed the visit. No problems. I loved her. Thanks.

Lora is amazing. She really took her time listening to my daughter's lung and diagnosed her with the beginning of pneumonia. I feel like if the time she took wasn't taken it may have been missed because it only affected the right lower lung. She took her time because she listened to my daughter's symptoms and was determined to understand why my daughter was having intermittent fevers. Thanks, Lora!
