Meet Krista Caldwell, PhD

Dr. Caldwell is a pediatric psychologist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2008. She earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She completed a psychology internship in the eating disorders track at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, Colo. and was a postdoctoral fellow in adolescent medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Caldwell has a special interest in helping patients with eating disorders. She’s a member of the Academy of Eating Disorders and the American Psychological Association. She’s contributed to numerous publications and presentations and severs as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

The doctor made my daughter and myself very comfortable and answered any questions we had and listened thoroughly and did not judge.

Drs Caldwell and (Staff name) are always professional, friendly, and excellent. I greatly appreciate their care. Also, the tech, (Staff name), is deserving of a shout out! She's so awesome and makes my child feel at ease and welcome when taking vitals and meeting us at the door.

Akron Children's Hospital Adolescent Medicine Program has been amazing for my daughter. The doctors, the therapists, the nurses, the receptionists, everybody. They're amazing. I recommend them to anybody.
