She was amazing. Listened to everything that has been going on with my son. Took the time to explain everything. I really felt heard and all my questions answered

Dr. Katina is amazing we absolutely love her!!!
Akron Children's is the best hospital and staff there. Highly recommend and thank you for your business.
She was WONDERFUL!! She was very informative and gave me a lot of insight to my son's previous testing and results that were done by another facility and gave me multiple options on how I can proceed. She even let me know what the next steps would be after our next appointment with either direction it could go in. I felt so much better leaving there today than I did in (year) leaving the last allergist we seen. She was easy to talk to and very easy to understand. Thank you!!!
These days It is rare to find a Doctor/NP/or PA who spends time with you no matter what. I never felt rushed or stupid for asking all my questions. Many Doctors you get so nervous because you can tell they just want to end the appointment so you forget everything. Not with Katina. Very down to earth, intelligent, and puts you at ease. My daughter had a slew of blood testing done and after every day results came in, Katina emailed me her thoughts. Then when they were all in she called me and we had a long conversation about next steps. In the appointment she explained to me what to expect on the results and what it would mean if the numbers were off and why she would not be concerned. Obviously she saw I was because I am not in the medical field and was nervous. The fact that she personally called me means the most, because a lot of things get lost in translation when you are relaying messages. Also, when my daughter came in for a follow up vaccine 2 weeks later, she saw Katina in the hallway and she asked my daughter about things we talked about at our initial appointment. So impressed and I can't say enough good things about her.
My daughter's allergist is really the best!
