She joined Akron Children’s in 2015 and began practicing as a provider in our New Philadelphia practice in 2022. She completed her undergraduate studies at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, and her graduate studies at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. Karianne is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Wonderful!
Took her time to review everything thoroughly with us. Very friendly.
She was very helpful in understanding of the fact that my son was a little bit nervous and helped explain the tools she was using to check him, like the stethoscope and otoscope, and let him help and listen and look to make him feel more comfortable with the situation, which I really loved. It was a little bit of a wait, but I understand that it's not her fault that we are in the middle of a sick season, and she was very apologetic for having us wait so long. Everything was wonderful.

Kari was so sweet and kind. She was so gentle with my newborn and she answered all of my questions. She was so patient with me im a first time mom so I had a bunch of questions. And then I ended up getting emotional and she was so nice to me and talked to me, you can tell she really cares for people and that she loves her job!
