Dr. Kerr has been practicing at Akron Children’s since 1998. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, she completed an internal medicine residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland. She went on to complete a pediatric primary care sports medicine fellowship Akron Children’s. Dr. Kerr’s areas of interest include pediatric, high school, collegiate, adult athletic, female athlete and musculoskeletal injury treatment. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. She has contributed to numerous professional publications and presentations and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Kerr is medical director at The University of Akron Health Services and is a team physician for The University of Akron. She also serves as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
