Meet Julie Dillard, MD, MSc

Dr. Julie Dillard is the director of research, neonatal-perinatal medicine and a neonatologist at Akron Children’s. Dr. Dillard earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed a Pediatrics residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia and a Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Dillard served as staff pediatrician for the United States Army at Fort Benning, Georgia and the United States Air Force at Yokota Air Base in Japan. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, General Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and is a member of the Uniformed Services Section, American Academy of Pediatrics, Midwest Society for Pediatric Research, American Physiological Society and Society for Pediatric Research Junior Section.
