Meet Jinzhu Li, MD
Dr. Li is an allergist/immunologist at Akron Children’s. He’s been practicing since 2011 and with Akron Children’s since 2014. He earned his doctorate in immunology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. and earned his medical degree from Shanghai Medical University in China. He went on to complete a pediatric residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, N.J. and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Li has a special interest in allergy, asthma and immunodeficiency disorders. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He’s a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the Clinical Immunology Society. Dr. Li has contributed to a number of publications and abstracts on topics related to his specialty and is also a clinical assistant professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Dr. Li is wonderful. He is kind, professional and cares about (Patient's) success and well being.
Dr. (Li) was extremely attentive. He did not rush us at all in any of our concerns that we expressed. He thoroughly examined my child, to the extent that he could within my child's comfort. He gave me really good opinions, and supported his opinions with his experience, and things he knows to be true in the medical field. I thought the visit was fantastic. I'm only giving him a 9, instead of a 10, simply because of the location. It was more about the building, and the location, and getting to him, and the prompters, and all of the different operational set up within the building itself that made it just a little bit cumbersome trying to get a child to the appointment with all of the self-service, and things along the way to someone who is unfamiliar with it. Aside from that, I would absolutely recommend him and would see him again.
