Meet Jennifer Gigax MD, FAAP
Dr. Gigax is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Pediatrics. She’s been practicing since 2002. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and completed a residency in pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Gigax has a special interest in newborn medicine, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and healthy living. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also serves on the board of directors for Access Tuscarawas and the Tuscarawas County YMCA.

Dr. Gigax was fantastic. I was really worried about my daughter since we were on day 9 of a fever and it was the 3rd time being seen to figure out what was wrong. She took the time to listen to me, answered my questions, and we thoroughly discussed the diagnosis
Dr. Gigax is hands down the best pediatrician around. We trust her 110% with all of our children's care. She is a compassionate, genuinely caring and gentle doctor. We are blessed to have the best in her hands.

The provider was ANAZING!!! I see why she's always not accepting new patients!!!! Trying to get my sick son in was another thing!!! I had to throw a fit and scream on the phone to get them to talk to the dr and explain what was going on and to call us back. Our Appt was very necessary and less than 30minutes!! Thank god she seen my son!!!
The doctor was very friendly and helpful. She was pleasant and listened to my concerns at my son's health.
Dr Gigax engages with the children to ask them questions directly. She lets them answer in their own time. That shows me she makes an effort to get to know her patients and picks up on nuisances in their answers.
