Meet Jennifer Dwyer, MD, FAAP
Dr. Dwyer is the medical director of Akron Children’s Pediatrics, where she’s been practicing as a pediatrician since 1999. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and completed her residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s. Dr. Dwyer has a special interest in pediatric preventive health care, acute sick care, chronic pediatric illness and mental health. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Dwyer has been with my kids, my grandkids. She's amazing. Her bedside manner, her knowledge, her just she listens, she answers questions, and she's never ever bothered. She's an amazing doctor, an amazing person in our family. Like we, my kids love her. They look forward, they want to see her. I wish we had more doctors like Jennifer Dwyer. She's amazing. I hope she hears this because she really is. She's been top notch since day one.

Our daughter has always been able to talk with her Dr.at a c h p Barberton ohio.We have consistently had her with a c h p since she was a few days old.She is now (age) years old!She really likes (Staff name) &Dr.Dwyer as well!We appreciate care given to her!
Dr Dwyer is a wonderful resource when addressing my child's wellness and health. The desk staff has improved I like the changes of the new staff added. The nurse remembered us and took initiative to explain the steps of the blood pressure cuff as she recalled my daughter's fear.
Dr Dwyer is fabulous. Take time to talk with child and parent, asks questions and gives the child an opportunity to ask questions. Great bedside manner. I trust my child is in the best care with her!
Dr. Dwyer is amazing. She answers all of my questions very thoroughly and never makes me feel like any question is a stupid question. She has been brilliant with helping me with my child and helping me to understand certain things about her. And I really appreciate her working at this facility.

Dr. Dwyer refered us to Chilrens Sport Medicine for (Patient's) shoulder injury bc they are the experts in recognizing and treating these injuries. We are thanking to have this facility and experts nearby.
