Meet Jean Christopher, MSN, APRN-CNS
Jean is a clinical nurse specialist at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing for more than 30 years and at Akron Children’s since 2003. Jean earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a master’s degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Jean has a special interest in pediatric critical care and wound care. She was inducted into the Clinical Nurse Specialist Institute as a Fellow in 2019. In 2024, Jean was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Clinical Nurse Specialist Institute, an arm of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS), which serves to develop and promote the charitable, educational, innovative clinical practice and scientific purposes of NACNS.
