Dr. Heather Minto is a pediatric allergist/immunologist at Akron Children’s. She earned her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and completed a pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters/Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She has been in practice since 2015 and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Always a very helpful and friendly visits.
It was not what she was saying, it was how she was saying it. I felt dumb for my concerns after talking to her and left the visit feeling like there was not a solid solution.

I appreciated that she asked my permission to have a resident listen in on the visit. She was really good while working with my (age) year old, very kind.
Our family has a more holistic, root cause approach to our wellness. It was more than obvious that this was laughable to Dr Minto. I wish her well but, in the future, we will go to a practitioner that can help us dig deeper into our sons allergies without jumping straight to a prescription pad and mockery.
While I didn't get any stickers on this visit... ;-) And this was my first visit to North Canton campus I appreciate the professionalism of the entire team
Dr. Heather Minto was so great with me. She answered all my questions, listened to me, and corresponded with me like I was actually an adult. And I appreciate that so much now because of having a brain injury on top of (#) years of MS. I get confused a lot, but at the same time, I'm still a (age)-year-old adult and she's treating me like a woman and I appreciate that. Thank you.
Bedside manner was poor - condescending and visibly rolling her eyes as we were answering her questions. Made a point during her exam to say how our daughter's eczema was "not too bad," when it is actually quite advanced. This is a (age) year old. Offered no alternative solutions - simply offered a steroid which we started by saying we preferred not to use. This visit was a beyond disappointing and a waste of our time.
