Meet Heather Minto, MD
Dr. Heather Minto is a pediatric allergist/immunologist at Akron Children’s. She earned her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and completed a pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters/Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She has been in practice since 2015 and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Absolutely love Akron Children's and trust the providers with my child's health and care.
I would like to say that my child's allergy doctor is wonderful. She lets me know everything, what's going on, what to get for him. I would recommend her to anybody because she's so wonderful. She's one of a kind. She will be my child's allergy doctor until forever. Thank you.

I appreciated that she asked my permission to have a resident listen in on the visit. She was really good while working with my (age) year old, very kind.
Our family has a more holistic, root cause approach to our wellness. It was more than obvious that this was laughable to Dr Minto. I wish her well but, in the future, we will go to a practitioner that can help us dig deeper into our sons allergies without jumping straight to a prescription pad and mockery.
While I didn't get any stickers on this visit... ;-) And this was my first visit to North Canton campus I appreciate the professionalism of the entire team
