Meet Gregory Benson, MD

Dr. Benson is a pediatric anesthesiologist and medical director of the Outpatient Surgery Center at Akron Children’s. He’s been practicing since 1994 and with Akron Children’s since 2014. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Ohio State University Hospitals. He went on to complete a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Dr. Benson is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesiology. He’s also a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists and Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.
