Meet Gordon Edwards
Since 2015, Gordon has held a variety of leadership roles in finance with the Marshfield Clinic Health System, an integrated health system serving Wisconsin with more than 12,000 employees, including more than 1,400 providers in over 170 specialties, a health plan, and research and education programs. He has been chief operations and financial officer there since 2019.
Prior to that, he was the system vice president of finance and Columbia Network CFO for PeaceHealth, a not-for-profit health care system with medical centers, critical access hospitals and medical clinics in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. He was also the CFO at Gunderson Lutheran Health System; vice president and controller at Legacy Health System; and a manager at KPMG and Arthur Andersen.
Gordon earned his bachelor of arts in business administration from the University of Washington and an MBA with health care emphasis from Viterbo University. In addition, he is a certified public accountant and Fellow with the Healthcare Finance Management Association. He and his family will relocate to the Akron area this fall.
