Meet Erin Shipley, MSN, APRN-CNP
Erin is a family nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing as a provider since 2019 and with Akron Children’s since 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. Erin has a special interest in sleep medicine and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Erin is ever so thorough. My son got frustrated that she "talked too much" but there were so many questions regarding the off label Rx he is on. She makes me feel like she really hears me and agrees with a lot of what I thought. Really felt heard.
The nurse is always very kind. Erin is also very very informative and never rushes the appointment and makes sure to go over everything so we understand and there is time for questions if needed. Very thorough!
