We had a wonderful experience with the Nurse Practitioner who evaluated my daughter. She was kind, compassionate, and provided medical information that we needed I am not happy to report that the nurse who took my daughter's temperature, height and weight and did the swabs did not provide us a comfortable experience. This is a first for us with anyone at ACH. She made a point to make me feel like I should not have brought my daughter in to be seen. First when I asked if my daughter still has a temp, she responded with a sarcastic "no, it's 98"...the response was appropriate but the tone of her voice while saying it was immediately off-putting. She asked me several times if I wanted my daughter to be tested for flu and strep (even though that's what I requested in My chart when making the appointment) and asked why I wanted her tested...this was after I rattled off all of her symptoms. When I said that I know the flu is going around and that my daughter has been prone to strep in the past, she stared at me and asked how I would treat her if they tested her. I told her that I'm not a Dr but I would follow the orders of the Dr. She went on to tell me that parents come in demanding tests and that she wants to make sure that I want my daughter tested. This was very awkward as I had already stated more than once that I'd like her tested. It was very clear to me that she thought that I should not have made an appointment or bother to have my daughter tested, though she did not say that directly. She was very young and perhaps is still learning bedside manner but I felt remiss to not notify someone because it was incredibly uncomfortable My daughter tested positive for Influenza A
She was very helpful, very caring, made me feel very comfortable as a new mother and I appreciate that.
Erin is awesome!
She was very, very nice, very, very helpful. And you can just tell that she loves her job. Like, she was very excellent. And I will highly, highly recommend her again.
I appreciated so much that Erin was very just helpful and thorough and helping us to think about my child's symptoms from a different perspective kind of out of the ordinary which helped me to be able to follow through with some of his specialist providers. So thank you so much for your time and your care.
She was very kind, listened to everything I said, and paid attention to my son in every possible way. I wanted to say thank you. Have a blessed one. Bye-bye. END
She makes you feel very comfortable and really listens to your concerns
Erin was amazing with my sick boys! She was super personable, easing their concerns.
Loved the provider herself, but the MA who called us back came off a bit rude. She didn't say anything to myself or my daughter besides instructions to get my daughters height and weight. Most employees would at least ask how our day is going just to be polite. I had the thought that she shouldn't be working with children. She seemed ticked off and like she couldn't be bothered with us. Not a good feeling.
This was our first visit with Erin Bujnoch and we absolutely love her. My husband and I are both RNs so our bar is high regarding providers. Erin's bedside manner shows how much she loves her job. She is incredibly thorough, explained everything in great detail, and never made us feel pressured to make decisions right away. We are VERY happy that Erin Bujnoch will be a part of our daughter's care team. Thank you!
