Meet Elizabeth Mason, MD
Dr. Mason is an adolescent medicine specialist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2019. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University. She completed a pediatric residency at Akron Children’s and an adolescent medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mason has a special interest in primary and preventative care, eating disorders, menstrual disorders and contraception, including long-acting reversible contraception. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine.

She was very kind and helped me to understand all of the questions that I had. She never made me feel like I was stupid for asking any of the questions and made me feel a lot better about the process that I'm about to be going through. She's a very good doctor and I can tell that she's one that I'm going to be continuing to see over the extended period of time for whenever I do need to see her. She just made me feel a lot better and I would definitely recommend her to my family or friends.
