Meet Elizabeth Mason, MD
Dr. Mason is an adolescent medicine specialist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2019. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University. She completed a pediatric residency at Akron Children’s and an adolescent medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mason has a special interest in primary and preventative care, eating disorders, menstrual disorders and contraception, including long-acting reversible contraception. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine.

Dr. Mason was very nice & professional. Our only complaint is that the office only offers one type of IUD.
Dr. Mason is very knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. She's one of the most personable providers I've encountered. She interacts directly with my teen instead of talking to her through me. I would recommend her to all.

Doctor Mason is one of the most caring doctors I have ever encountered. She truly cares about what she does and her patients. She made me feel very comfortable and listened to all my concerns. After listening to my concerns she gave me a clear plan and helped me put it into action.
