Meet Danielle Freeman, MSN, APRN-CNP
Danielle is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing as a provider since 2021 and with Akron Children’s since 2017. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Danielle has a special interest in neurology and headache infusions. My daughter loved the nurse practitioner. She was very patient and made (Patient) feel important by asking her questions about her care plan, which was AMAZING! We truly love the staff at Akron Children's Neurology!
The doctor was very kind, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.

We felt she was very thorough.
Dr. Freeman spent a long amount of time addressing all of our concerns and needs. She could see that my daughter was nervous about asking her school for help with her medication and Dr. Freeman informed us that the school can actually enact a 504 plan as well as her migraine action plan. Dr. Freeman also provided us multiple new resources including a new device that could be beneficial for helping my daughter's migraines. We felt very well taken care of and that she spent a lot of time addressing our needs and making my daughter feel comfortable.

The front desk nurse who checked us in, was so bubbly and so kind! She also called my daughter back and took her vitals, weight and height(she was also training someone) ..then she checked us out also. She was very pleasant and put a smile on our faces. Thank you!
We love Danielle. She is the only person he really likes to see. She is caring & compassionate. She always answers our questions & we never feel rushed. Everyone in Neurology there have been wonderful. Even the ladies that greet us at the front desk are so wonderful.
She listens and is able to communicate with my son. She makes him feel comfortable.
