Meet Christine Pasquarella, MD
Dr. Pasquarella is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2018. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio and completed her residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Pasquarella has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis and endoscopic surveillance. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric gastroenterology and is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Pasquarella is also a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

She was so attentive, listened to everything we said and took her time with us. She eased our anxiety and made us feel so much better about our son and the situation.
Dr. Christine Pasquarella was very nice! The lady who did the blood work was fantastic. My son (Patient) was really scared. She used numbing spray and she told him to close his eyes and on the count of 3 she would stick him. She did it so quickly and efficiently.
The doctor always listen to our concerns and is open to our ideas just as she is to her own. Makes us feel like we can say anything to her without being judged
