Meet Christine Carter-Kent, MD
Dr. Carter-Kent is a gastroenterologist at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing since 2008. She earned her medical degree from Case Western University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to complete a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Carter-Kent has a special interest in abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and quality improvement. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
