Meet Catherine Ward-Melver, MD

Dr. Ward-Melver is a clinical geneticist at Akron Children’s. She sees patients in Akron Children’s Genetics Center, Turner Syndrome Center, Adult Neurodegenerative Clinic and Neuromuscular Clinic. Dr. Ward-Melver is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Richmond, VA, and her fellowship in clinical genetics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She is board certified in medical genetics and genomics and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH.
