Meet Casandra Solis, OD
Dr. Solis has been practicing since 2013. She joined Akron Children’s as an optometrist where she provides eye exams and helps patients with vision needs - from ocular disease to contact lenses. After graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry, she completed her residency in pediatric optometry at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, MO. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

They all were nice
Everyone we came in contact with today was wonderful. My daughter was treated wonderfully and she was taken care of with great care.
Very good with the my child. Made her feel comfortable about her eye drops. Took the time to ask her about herself. Definetly would recommend them to family and friends.
Dr Solis was very informative about my son's eye problem. She was patient with all my questions and wanted to make sure they were answered before we left. I never felt rushed which is great! The staff at the Medina office were very kind as well.

The provider itself was amazing and I feel like we had a great experience, but unfortunately, billing called us the day before to tell us the appointment was going to be $2,500 because insurance denied an authorization. And I followed up with insurance because I was going to cancel the appointment and insurance let me know that they never even got a request for authorization. So I'm glad I didn't end up canceling the appointment, but the appointment was great. The doctor was great. The billing department was kind of a nightmare to figure out and work with.
