Meet Carrie Costin, MD
Dr. Costin is a clinical geneticist at Akron Children’s where she’s been practicing since 2015. A graduate from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, she completed a pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a genetic fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Dr. Costin specializes in the evaluation and management of birth defects, autism, developmental delays, connective tissue disorders, and metabolic disorders. She is certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and is a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Dr Costin was very good. However, we went for lab work and had a terrible experience there. Reception and tech very rude and off putting. Refused to draw my grandchilds lab work. Told me to return when I had enough help to hold child down for the draw. This after waiting for an hour I live 60 miles away. she has adhd and was scared. Very disappointing for a specialty pediatric facility.
She is a wonderful doctor. I had many questions and concerns. She took the time to explain everything to me without making me feel like she was in a rush.
Very caring and willing to listen. Asked many relevant questions and was so patient with me while I remembered things. I felt like I was heard
