Meet Brian Lapolla, AIA, MBA, LEED AP
Brian Lapolla, AIA, MBA, is vice president of operations at Akron Children’s. He oversees clinical operations for the Ear, Nose and Throat Center, the Heart Center and the NeuroDevelopmental Science Center, in addition to support services for planning, construction, space allocation, facilities maintenance, emergency preparedness, supply chain, public safety and parking. Brian earned his bachelor and master of architecture degrees from The Ohio State University and an MBA through Kent State University’s Executive MBA program. Brian is a licensed architect in the state of Ohio and is LEED accredited from the United States Green Building Council.
Brian serves on the Silver Lake Planning Commission and the Safety Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of the Western Reserve and is a board member of the Akron Art Museum and Habitat for Humanity of Summit County. He has also been a board member of the American Institute of Architects Akron Chapter and an adjunct faculty member at Kent State University.
