Meet Ari Gartenberg, MD
Dr. Gartenberg is a pediatric interventional cardiologist at Akron Children's Heart Center. He joined Akron Children's in 2023. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed a residency in pediatrics followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Gartenberg completed additional advanced training in pediatric interventional cardiology and has a special interest in minimally invasive treatments in the cardiac catheterization laboratory for both children and adults with congenital heart disease. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics with a sub-board in pediatric cardiology and is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on topics relating to both general and interventional cardiology and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

We had a great visit. These were very professional doctors, very informative, answered every question, just a positive, excellent experience.
Kind, thorough, knowledgable and great bed side manner.
From the tech to the doctor, my daughter had great care. Everyone was friendly and nice. Dr. G was thorough and sat down and just talked with us. Never once making us feel rushed or like we weren't being heard. He asked multiple times if we understood, if we had questions and what else we felt like we needed from him. Great care all around!

I want to thank the doctor and the scheduling person for taking the time to listen to my needs and find an appointment quickly. She did not diminish my need to get my son seen in a timely manner to resume his cross country. Because of her and the doctor, my son received an appointment quickly. After receiving a thorough exam, he has been cleared and can resume training. My son and his team are grateful.
