Meet Anya Kleinman, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kleinman is a pediatrician and an emergency medicine physician at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing since 2011 and with Akron Children’s since 2018. She earned her medical degree from Ben Gurion-Columbia Medical School for International Health in Israel and completed her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to complete the Advancing Pediatric Educator Excellence (APEX) program sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Hospital Medicine and the Academic Pediatric Association. Dr. Kleinman is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She’s also an assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University and has contributed to several publications and presentations on pediatric topics.
