Meet Anna Hauenstein, MSN, APRN-CNP

Anna is a nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s where she supports patients in Hospital Medicine and in the Infusion and Sedation Center. She’s been practicing as a registered nurse since 2008 and as a nurse practitioner since 2015. Anna earned her bachelor’s degree and master of science in nursing degree from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner-acute care and is certified in basic life support, pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support. Anna is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Pediatrics, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
