Amy is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2001. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Amy has a special interest in pediatric wellness, obesity, endurance sports and concussion management. We saw (staff name) and Amy from Healthy living today..it was our 1st visit with the both of them..they both actually spoke to my son as if I wasn't there ...which I really appreciated because I felt that with them making eye contact with him and speaking to him it made him actually listen to the words they were saying instead of just talking and me doing all the answering. I thought the both of them were very knowledgeable and super sweet. We look forward to coming back in (month). and meeting the rest of the team...thank you
