Meet Amanda Feierabend, MSN, APRN-CNP
Amanda is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2012. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. and a master’s degree from Rush University in Chicago, Ill. Amanda has a special interest in ear, nose and throat, craniofacial and tracheostomy. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

The Physician and her assistant are very helpful and caring.
From the front desk staff, nursing staff, nurse practioner, audiologist and xray provider the care was exceptional. My son is autistic and non verbal and had been having ear infections reoccurring. He can be very hard to examine as he processes everything differently especially his ears as they are sensitive. From the time we arrived to the time we left were treated wonderfully. I would like to say the audiologist (Staff name) I believe was her name she was one of the kindest, sweetest, patient providers I have ever been around. I've worked in healthcare for 16 years and the care she provided in checking my son's hearing was phenomenal. She was great with him and kind. She truly is meant to work with children. Amanda was also phenomenal with the education and care she provided to us. They are meant to care for children and I believe it takes a very special, kind individual to provide healthcare to children. These are special individuals. Thank you for your care to the entire staff. Having providers listen and be kind and educational at the same time especially with a child with special needs I can't thank you enough. I was stressed out about the visit and you eased my worries and made it so much easier than I thought it would be. I drove (#) minutes from home because I had to get him in as soon as possible and I'm so glad I picked this office. Thank you so much again for all you do. I wish each one of you the best. It was our first visit to the ENT and she was wonderful with my daughter, who has Down syndrome. We were very happy with our visit!
We struggled with a different provider for over a year just to get an initial visit. We finally gave up on that provider and got a new referral to this office instead. I'm so glad we did! They kept our appointment, everyone in the office was wonderful! The nurses and specialist were thorough and open to answering any questions we had. The appointment went so quickly too and we left feeling confident and hopeful that we are going to get my son's issue handled! THIS is where I will be requesting any future referrals to!
