Alyssa is absolutely amazing! She has made all of us feel very comfortable, as well as listened to. We are so lucky to have found her!
She was very kind and just the moment she walked in the room, she had a smile on her face and she made me and my daughter feel comfortable. Alyssa, she was so wonderful. My son was sick and we had to check his ears. He had an ear infection and every other time we have to look at his ears, it is World War III and she did it and I don't know if it's the aura of her or just the way that she was so kind and just the way she talked to my son. Not one tear was shed and she was just so wonderful and warm and I told her it makes me want to drive 30 minutes to come see her every time because she was so great. Nothing but rave reviews.
I am so thankful for the care we received at the Wooster location of Akron Children's! My son had a bad earache overnight on (date), and I made (I thought) an appointment first thing (date) morning. Through my own error using MyChart, when I showed up we realized I had actually made the appointment for (date). The reception staff were so kind and offered to ask the doctor if she would be able to squeeze us in, even though I didn't have an appointment that day and it was my error. The doctor was willing to squeeze us in to look at my son's ear (and confirm it was an ear infection) and was so warm and caring. They saved us a trip to urgent care and were so just so kind, even though it was completely my error on scheduling the wrong date. I'm so grateful!
She was very helpful. She took her time to really listen to us, really hear us, and I felt like that she really took time to offer good care and really I felt like she heard us as patients.
Provider and nurse were great. Only issue is they forgot about us after the last test for 30 minutes. We had to find someone to see if we could leave.
