Team was great but it took an unacceptable amount of time to get in. We were waiting since my child was in 5th grade and the paperwork kept getting lost. She is just not 5 years later at 16 being seen.

I found Allison Burke to be extremely kind, thoughtful and understanding when speaking with my husband and I. She provided us with not only my daughter's results but provided all of the reasons why her and her team came to the conclusion that they did. She provided guidance and referrals for how to move forward with my daughters care but also provided us with referrals for support groups such as NAMI. Allison also stated that if we had questions, we could contact her at any time. Overall, the entire experience at Akron Children's Hospital was excellent and worth the 14 month wait to have my daughter seen.
