The Rebecca Considine Research Institute Services
The Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute is an integrated support system for Akron Children’s staff and trainees engaged in the quest to improve patient care through science. We provide consistent and ongoing support, guidance and resources to help researchers at all levels navigate the research process and keep studies moving forward.
Our support services include:
- Biostatistics: study design, statistical analysis, sample size calculations and data interpretation
- Contract administration: preparation, negotiation, review and management
- Data support: database development, survey design, data entry, Epic data reporting
- Feasibility analysis
- Financial Services: budget creation, negotiation and monitoring; study billing
- Grant administration: proposal planning, submission, award set up and reporting
- Institutional Review Board (IRB): regulatory and review process support
- Regulatory compliance: risk analysis, audit program development, document preparation and submission
- Research credentialing
