Clubs for Kids Golf Classic

Akron Children's has been hosting this special fundraising event since 2011.  This golf outing begins with registration and lunch, followed by a shotgun start at noon.  A cocktail reception and dinner immediately follow the day of golf and fun. The evening features a live and silent auction along with the presentation of prizes. A limited number of team sponsorships and reception-only tickets are available. 

A youth clinic is held prior to the adult event. The clinic features stations for young golfers in these age groups: 6 – 8 years, 9 – 11 years, and 12 – 14 years, and will include an observation station focusing on grip, stance, posture and alignment, a hands-on chipping and pitching instruction station and a putting contest.  A limited number of spots are available.

All proceeds from the Clubs for Kids Golf Classic benefit the local programs and services of Akron Children’s Mahoning Valley.
