Careers After Graduating From Pediatric Residency
What Comes After Medical Residency?
Upon completing a pediatric residency, graduates have diverse career paths. Many choose general pediatrics, either in primary care or hospital settings, while others pursue specialized training through fellowships in specific areas. Academic medicine offers opportunities for research, teaching and clinical care, while public health focuses on improving child health.
Akron Children’s has established community-based pediatric primary care practices throughout Northeast Ohio. Many of our program’s graduates work in these practices. Learn more about starting a rewarding career with Akron Children’s Pediatrics.
